Wine Growing in Canada

Canada is better known for its maple syrup than its wine. But wine growing in the country dates back to the 19th century. And Canada is the world’s biggest exporter of ice wine. Canada’s climate is ideal for the dessert wine, but is also suited to more conventional wines. We visit a German wine grower who emigrated there 24 years ago. His wines go down particularly well in Japan, China and Korea. Powered by www.newslook.com Producer : Deutsche Welle
